Obituary of Claudette Flora Melanson

MELANSON (FOURNIER), Claudette Flora – Claudette passed away with her family by her side at Bluewater Health on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Real. Dear mother of Lynn McEwen (Leslie), Sarnia, Pauline Stewart (Jim), P.E.I. and Janet Dufault (Peter), Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Joseph McEwen (Yulia), Melanie Baines (Derek), Zacharie Stewart (Krista Lee), Justin Stewart (Laura), Meighan Dufault, Shannon Boutet (Joshua) and Jordan Dufault (Megan). Great-grandmother of Alexander, Anthony, Xyla. Sister of Richard Fournier (Janice), Davidson, MI., and Michelle Fournier, B.C. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Lorenzo and Yvonne Fournier and sisters Claire Pelletier, Lorraine Duquette and Estelle Szymanski. Claudette was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and enjoyed spending time at the cottage, travelling and reading. A private family funeral service will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N.
