Jocelyn and Charlie Cole posted a condolence

As dear cottage friends we were so saddened to hear of Claudette’s passing. Due to Covid we hadn’t seen her in a couple of years. We have such fond memories of that wonderful woman with the most beautiful heart, so willing to welcome us into her ‘home away from home’. Cookies, chips, treats and a drink were always at the ready as were a deck of cards. Her smiling face will be sorely missed. Our sympathies to you Ray, and of course her loving daughters and their families of which she was so proud. Thinking of you. Jocelyn and Charlie Cole

We are your neighour across on O'rae. This is really shocking to us to hear aboud passing away of Claudette while we were in vacation in India. We have returned and when right time will come will visit Mr,Melanson. This is a huge loss for any of the surviving member of the family. Hope each one of them gets courage and strength to bear this loss.
We all are mortal but our deeds live long forever. So Claudette's memory will be with us forever.
Let her soul rest in Peace. Yes we have lighted a candle at our house for Claydette.
You neighour Pran and Nila Sengupta

Pauline and Family,
I have many happy memories visiting the Melanson home and chatting with your Mom. Every time I visit Sarnia I peek down O’Rae street and look for a glimpse of the house. Love and hugs,
Cathie Kearns (Fenchak)
