Lorrie and family
Laughter, sharing, joy - we enjoyed all of those when we got together during our years of friendship. Those early days when we were newly weds and the future awaited.
Somehow we always stayed connected- high school gatherings, lunches, when you came to Toronto- usually for a conference.
More recently we’ve connected more often and supported each other in that familiar loving way of lifetime friends.
The next while may be difficult and know that love and comfort surrounds you.
Rest In Peace, John.

So sorry to learn of John’s passing. My friendship extends from high school days. Interestingly the singular wedding present my wife and I still retain after 55 years was a lovely china bowl given us by John. We’ll cherish it now all the more. L $ E

Dear Lorrie,
So sad to hear of John's passing. We had lots of fun as couples in the early years in Sarnia, 1970 to 1988. We remember his dry sense of humour and I (John) enjoyed many squash matches with John at the Sarnia Riding Club. He was very competitive and hard to beat!! Glad to hear of his contribution to Rotary, a wonderful organization! We send our love and hugs to you and your family at this sad time and as you celebrate his life.

Tanya and family, we are so sorry to hear about John. Jeff and I have great memories of playing racquetball with him at the club - he had a way of getting to shots that left you shaking your head in bewilderment! Happy memories will keep him with you always. Sending you hugs and our sympathy in such a difficult time.

Lorrie, we are so sorry to read about your loss of John. We have so many fond memories of you both as a couple when we all were younger. We remember the fun and good laughs we all had at get togethers and dances with our mutual friends back in the day. John had so many talents that he shared through his great teaching ability, and his dedication to the community. He was a good man and you can cherish his memory knowing that.
Take good care of yourself over these next days and months and know we are thinking about you. With fondness and affection. Ray and Marlene

John, I never had the opportunity to meet you in person. I work with your daughter Tanya and it was through Tanya that I learned more about this wonderful man that she calls dad. I know that your family will deeply miss you but they also cherish those great times that were had with you in company.
