Obituary of Ronald Hubert Joseph Hofsteede

HOFSTEEDE, Ronald Hubert Joseph – It is with great sadness that we announce his sudden death on March 6, 2021 at the age of 55. Dear brother of the late Dorothy (Dave) Cann, the late Leola (John) Jackson, Lia Churchill, Joanne (Manuel) Ferreira, Mary (Terry) Widdis, Carl (Greta) Hofsteede and Ed (Betsy) Hofsteede. Cherished Uncle of the late Terry-Lynn Cann, Meagan Churchill, Jennifer (Aaron) Beauvais, Christine (Mike) Carreiro, Andrew (Kelly) Ferreira, Wendy Thomson, Brian Thomson, Sierra (Vince) Paquin, Marsadie (Jordon) Grenier, Michaela Grenier, Ryan Grenier, Asha Hofsteede (Spencer), Sara Hofsteede (Filip), Johnny Hofsteede (Stephanie), Alexis (Matthew) Simon, Rachel Hofsteede (Roger), Steve (Shanine) VanDinther, Mike VanDinther, Mark (Karen) VanDinther, Laura VanDinther. Adored by his many Great-nieces and Great-nephews. Loved dearly by his Great-great nephew and proud Godfather to Kylie Grant-Churchill. Predeceased by his parents John & Petronella Hofsteede. 

 

Ron was a genuinely caring soul; kind to everyone who crossed his path, generous, thoughtful, and considerate, never judging of others. He had a fun-loving, happy, and vibrant personality that made it easy for people to like him and he was loved by many. His infectious smile that brightened the day and the way he lit up a room will forever be missed but never forgotten.
