Obituary of Wayne Edward Lonsway

LONSWAY, Wayne Edward – After a long battle with arthritis, Wayne passed away peacefully surrounded by family at McCormick Home, London Ontario on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the age of 64. Beloved husband of the late Jane (McDougall) (2019). Dear brother of Douglas Lonsway (Susan), Kitchener and Heather McKeown (Colin), Stittsville. Predeceased by parents Bruce & Margaret Lonsway. Wayne will be greatly missed by both his family in Canada and in Scotland. Wayne enjoyed a long career in the banking industry, which included many years at the Victoria and Grey Bank in Sarnia. Gratitude and thanks to the amazing staff at McCormick Home for their care of Wayne and support to his family. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Saturday October the 31^st from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Due to the restrictions of Covid 19 a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church with interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory and maximum visitors at one time and social distancing will be strictly enforced.
