All the Clan in Scotland posted a condolence

All the family in Scotland just want to say how much we love and miss Wayne and Jane. We loved it when they came over to visit us or if we came out to visit them. They were an exceptionally kind and caring couple who despite their health problems put others first. We always joked that Wayne was more Scottish than any of us natives due to his red hair, love of Scottish Traditional music and his appetite for Scottish food. Rest in Peace. Always loved, never forgotten from all the Clan in Scotland.

I will always remember Wayne playing goal in a road hockey game in our farm yard and him being unbeatable with a quick glove hand and the steely determination that would define the way he lived his life.
Rest In Peace old friend and know you will be remembered.

To the Family of Wayne Lonsway, We send our condolences to all of you. We are from St. John the Divine Church and sat behind Jane and Wayne at 5:15 mass on Saturdays for many years. Jane and Wayne were wonderful people, so kind and caring and they both had a great sense of humour. We have very fond memories of them both. Two weeks ago, I had a lovely telephone conversation with Wayne and was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May your memories sustain you at this difficult time. Jim and Dianne Kehoe

Thinking of you - Doug, Heather and family, and Jane's family in Scotland - as you mourn the loss Wayne.
He was such an incredibly kind, gentle and caring soul, always focusing on others, meanwhile using his wonderful sense of humour to cope with more pain and suffering than anyone should ever have to endure.
Rest in peace, dear Wayne.
With much love,
Mary, Tom and family

(painting interior of the church) and they both were always so willing to give of their time.
