Obituary of James Angus Dixon

DIXON, James – James passed away at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Pauline. Dear father of Rick Dixon (Michelle), Manotick. Loving Grampa of Micaela Dixon, U.K. and Harrison Dixon, Manotick. Brother of Fern Gormley (late Joe) and brother-in-law of Lois Dixon. Predeceased by parents John & Sadie Dixon and sisters Jean Lester (Harvey), Mary Shepherd (Gerry) and Roy Dixon. James had a long career as a compressor millwright at Polymer/Polysar retiring in 1982. He was very active at Sacred Heart Parish. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Fiddick’s Nursing Home in particular Mike Fiddick and Kathleen Reid for taking such good care of dad for the last 11 years.
