To the Family of Bob/SASS. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. He was and will always be a great Friend ( Dad ) . We had many laughs and ginger ales together with the Wertz warriors. He was like a dad to me in all the years I had the pleasure of knowing him. He was also an awesome photographer, and loved his bluegrass. He will always be in my heart and memories. He will truly be missed! But not forgotten. R I P Bob/ Sass / Dad / Friend / Wertz Warrior.

So sorry to hear of Bob's death. We had some great times at The Macomb Daily. He taught me a lot -- both about photography and the newspaper business. I will keep those memories. My sympathies to you.
