Obituary of Arthur Martynse

MARTYNSE, Arthur - Surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health on Sunday, January 31, 2016, Arthur Martynse died at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Amy Irene (Devlin). Loving father of Bruce & his wife Jessica, Essex, Judith Sandison & her husband John, Waterloo, and Barbara Cook & her husband Peter, Chatham. Cherished grandfather of Trevor (Ashley) & Daniel Martynse, Graham & Neil Sandison and Brandon & Stephen Cook, and great-grandfather of Miranda Martynse. Brother-in-law of Jim Devlin & his wife Lois, Kingston. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Hendrik & Gerardina, son Ronald and sisters Anne and Jane, brothers Henry and Jerry. Arthur was an Engineer with Dupont of Canada, for over 40 years. His passions were woodworking and camping all over North America. Visitation will take place at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, February 4th , 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A celebration of Arthur's life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following visitation on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
