Obituary of Edward Arthur Wells

Wells, Edward Arthur (Ted), P.Eng. – October 13, 1924 - November 12, 2015. Ted passed away peacefully in his sleep at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Thursday morning. Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Marie Wells (2009). Loving father of Peter Wells, Stouffville, ON, Matthew Wells, Collingwood, ON and Thomas and his wife Muriel Wells, Delta, BC. Proud grandfather of Katie, John, Jennifer, Andrew, Jake, Grace and Laura. Predeceased by his parents Ethel and Arthur Wells and his sister, Muriel Kerr. Ted was an employee at Dow Canada for thirty-nine years and a long-time member of Central United Church. The family wish to thank Dr. Maddison, the nurses and support staff and the many wonderful volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their compassion and care. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina Street, Sarnia on Tuesday, November 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy funeral home on Wednesday, November 18th at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Lilian Patey. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Corbyville, ON at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 20th.
