Obituary of William Robert Feil

FEIL, William, Robert - Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care, on September 22, 2015, Bill Feil died at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Mrnik)of 56 yrs. Loving father of Mark (Lorie), Greg (Sandy), and Lisa Payne (Richard). Cherished grandfather of Erica & Kevin, Ian & Cameron and Daniel. Also survived by his sisters Dorothy Bissell (Jim), Betty Norris (late Carmen), sister-in-law Ann Davies (late Reg), and brother-in-law Frank Mrnik (Susan). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William & Lovina Feil, siblings; Fred (Ila), George (Loretta), Vera (Howard) and in-laws Frank & Frances Mrnik. Bill graduated from Queens University, Engineering Chemistry program in 1957. He moved to Sarnia where he began and ended his career working for over 35 years as a Chemist with Shell. Coming from a large family, Bill loved social gatherings, spending time with family and friends singing, playing music and cards. He will be greatly missed. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, September 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
