ADLAM, Sandra “Sandy” Louise - Suddenly at home on Thursday, July 30, 2015, Sandra Adlam died at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Maxted "Max" Adlam. Loving mother of Michele Brosseau & her husband Brian, B.C., Melissa Thibault & her partner Bruce Moorhead, Georgetown, Mark Orrange, Sarnia, the late Mike Orrange & his wife Kim, Sarnia. Dear step-mother of Debra Adlam-Doney & her husband Mark, Niagara Falls, Christopher Adlam, Glencoe and Tim Adlam, St. Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Tyler Orrange, Michael Orrange (Elysia), Laura Thibault, Sydney Thibault, Courtney Brosseau, Justin Brosseau, Colin Orrange, Connor Orrange, Cameron Orrange, Max Doney & Sam Doney. Great-grandmother of Chloe Ann, Kaiden & Alex Orrange. Dear sister of Marie Welch (Doug) Strathroy, Robert Swales (Donna), London, Leonard Swales (Ruth), Appin, and brother-in-law David Adlam (Violet), Texas. Daughter-in-law of Violet (Cam) Adlam. Predeceased by her parents Phyllis & Cecil Swales. Sandy was a long time resident of Sarnia. Many will remember seeing Sandy on her bicycle riding anywhere and everwhere she could. She worked as a server at the Drawbridge Inn and Waggs Restaurant for over 47 years. Sandy was well respected and a good friend to many patrons & colleagues in the service industry. Her passion was her family and friends. She liked to shop and make care packages for others in need. Sandy will be remembered for her generosity and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Chapel Thursday, August 6, at 1:00 p.m.. A tree will be planted in memory of Sandra Adlam in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
