Obituary of Diane Jean Cunningham
CUNNINGHAM, Diane Jean (Morgan) - Surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's Hospice on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, Diane Cunningham died at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Scott Cunningham. Loving mother of Jennifer Allison, Kris Black & his wife Sarah, Kelly Cunningham and Randy Cunningham & his wife Natalie, all of Sarnia. Cherished grandmother ‘Dee Dee’ of Morgan, Emma & Maxwell Allison, Madison & Evan Bowers and Brooklyn, Hannah & Hayden Black. Dear daughter-in-law of Murial "Bunny" Cunningham and sister-in-law of Joanne Crowe & her husband Paul, Oil City. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George & Minnie Morgan and her brothers, Robert & John Morgan. Diane was a gift to anyone she came in contact with; she had a selfless way of always helping all of those around her. In addition, she was an amazing Dee Dee to her grandchildren, always spoiling them at any opportunity. Also known as ‘Chef Di’, Diane was a special friend to many in the food industry in Sarnia and area. Many will remember Diane’s passion for Bon Jovi, her trips to Vegas, her love for taking cruises and her many cherished pets. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all of her family, friends and colleagues. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Diane's life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Monday, June 1st at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Canon Vicars Hodge. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery following the service.
