Diane Belanger posted a condolence
Wednesday, June 3, 2015
Dear Scott, Jennifer & Family,
I returned just today (Wednesday) from vacation and read my emails about Diane. I think I am still in shock. She was one of the most vibrant and vivacious people I knew. She was always so full of life, smiles and joy. We loved to talk about cruising and her trips to Vegas. I worked with her at Shoppers and we remained friends over the years. It is truly a very sad loss and I send my deepest sympathy to you, Scott and Jennifer and all of the family. I kept a picture of her and I at one of our Shoppers events, in my drawer at work. She was a dear and sweet friend and I always loved seeing her. May God pour out His peace on all of you at this difficult time. Love and deepest sympathy from Diane Belanger

Jenn (and family) - I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a true professional, and had a quick wit that could make everyone laugh so easily. The picture you posted really captures her beautiful smile and character.
My thoughts are with you and your family during this very sad time.

For well over a decade now Di has flew by me in the hall or dashed in and out of the kitchen or cafeteria at PEC. Always tweaking, adjusting or simply ensuring everything was done to the highest of standards. She was forever a buzz! However, the amazing thing was never once amongst the fury did she neglect to gesture or acknowledge me. Even if it was a quick "How ya doin today Honey?" Now, you might think well that is just who she was. However, to me it was much more. You see Di always showed kindness, warmth and consideration without being discriminate. We were all treated equal. This may sound simply but isn't that proof of greatness? Small gesture= big impact!?!? I would say yes indeed! She was indeed great!
