Obituary of Gregory John Chalmers

CHALMERS, Gregory – Greg died suddenly at home on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the age of 66. Dear father of Gregory Chalmers (Sam) and Leighsa Chalmers (Dan). Loving grandfather of Austin, Joshua, Jace, Jenelle, Avrie, Jerrica, Justice, Julysa, Rayne, Ellie, Benson, Lucas and soon to be baby boy Max. Son of Jeanne Chalmers (Joe). Brother of Steve Chalmers (Linda), Terry Chalmers (Marie) and Susan LeBelle (Yvon). Also surviving is the mother of his children Debbie Clayton-Chalmers. Predeceased by son Michael Clayton and father Donald Chalmers. Dad was an amazing father - and an even better Papa. His grandchildren meant the world to him - and they adored him just the same.
Dad was an amazing shoulder to lean on - and was there for his family first and foremost. Especially his children. We could count on him no matter the circumstance.
He was the most patient man. Nothing seemed to bother him and always had the most positive outlook on any situation.
Dad was always the hardest worker - from working on the Rigs overseas - to working for the most amazing crew at Freshcut Lawn Care, who became his second family.
Dad really enjoyed his Sunday morning coffee and cruise with his son, Greg.
He also loved going to his daughters, Leighsa's and making sure everyone was up early - because half the day was already over by 9am.
He may have left this earth far too soon - but his wisdom and memories will be cherished for a lifetime. Dad, we love you.

At Greg’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
