Obituary of Melissa Lynn Reeves

REEVES, Melissa Lynn – Melissa passed away unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, London, surrounded by her family on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Jerry for 39 years. Dear mother of Steven Reeves (Sarah). Loving daughter of Sharon (Clement Evers) and the late Jim Hackenbrook. Sister of Jason Hackenbrook. Also surviving are many loved aunts, uncles, and other extended family. Melissa will also be missed by her Lovebird “Toto” and her grandpuppy Sawyer. She loved camping and enjoying staying at the family cottage. Melissa had a huge heart. She loved everybody. Melissa was a music lover and was Jerry’s number one fan following his bands wherever they played. She enjoyed her career at Marshall Gowland Manor and deeply cared about her residents. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.  The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
