Obituary of Gladys Leona Putt

PUTT, Gladys Leona (nee McIntyre) – Peacefully, Gladys Putt died at Bluewater Health on Saturday, July 20, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Dalton Putt.  Loving mother of Alastair Putt & his wife Laurie, Sarnia and Jeffrey Putt & his wife Kelly, London.  Cherished grandmother of Brandon Putt, Darren Putt (Sarah), Olivia Kwon (Rich), and Carter Putt. Proud great-grandmother of Henry, Ameilia, Dylan, Eleanor, Evelyn and Norah.  Dear sister of Elaine Kenny. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Archie & Florence McIntyre, great-grandson Jack, brothers Kenneth, Reginald and Raymond and her sisters Mary Hughes, Frances Rankin and Margery McCallum.

Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her greatest joy was spending time with them.  She was an excellent cook and baker.  Christmas was her favourite time of year.  Gladys loved animals but especially Dachshunds and spending time in her gardens gave her great joy.  She was a parishioner of Paterson Memorial Church for over 70 years.  She will be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St. Sarnia, N7T 7W8.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
