Obituary of Cliff Wasson

WASSON, Clifton “Cliff” Alexander – Peacefully surrounded by his family, at Bluewater Health, Cliff Wasson died on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the age of 76.  Loving brother of Cheryl Snell (Bob), Wendy Smith (Myke), David Wasson (Julie), Ellen Kavanaugh (Donny), Marsha Wasson (Jay), Lisa Gilbert (Tom) and Ron Wasson.  Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and loving remembered by Alicia and Candace (CJ).  Predeceased by his parents and his nephew David Wasson Jr. 

 

Cliff was an employee at Imperial Oil for many years as a pipe fitter and a process operator.  In his early years he was an avid 2 pitch ball player along with being a dedicated pool player in the Original Rack N Roll pool league.  Cliff was actively the President of the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Club for the last 8 year which became his second extended family. 

 

Cremation has taken place.  As per Cliff’s instructions a private ceremony will take place. The family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Sunday, July 7th 1:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be spoken at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send donations to the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Association, 503 Michigan Avenue, Pt.
