Obituary of Dianne Fletcher

FLETCHER (Walker), Dianne – Dianne passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Bill Fletcher for 56 years. Dear mother of Elizabeth Martyn (Patrick) and Henry Fletcher. Loving grandparent of Julia Martyn. Sister of Alison Mason and Mandy Walker (Laurence Jones). Sister-in-law of Carol Smith and the late Jack Fletcher (Carole). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Dianne and her family came to Sarnia from England in 1974. She worked for many years in marketing and sales for the Sarnia Gazette until her retirement. Dianne loved to be outside gardening for both her and the Corunna Horticultural Society.

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 3-5 p.m.  The memorial service will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, 718 Cathcart Blvd at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Operation Smile Canada, 204-375 University Ave., Toronto, M5G 2J5 or Doctors Without Borders, 551 Adelaide St. Toronto, M5V 0N8.
