Obituary of Margaret Loretta Sauve

SAUVE, M. LORETTA (Jan. 2, 1927 – Nov. 7, 2023)

After a long and wonderful life, we sadly said goodbye to our treasured mother Loretta. She will be reunited with her beloved husband Oscar (deceased Dec. 1975) and her loving son Robert (deceased Sept. 2011).

Survived by daughters Betty (Stan) Griffiths and Darlene (Gary) Ellis. Grandchildren: Chris (Indira) Griffiths, Tracy Griffiths (fiancé Yvan Parent) and Shannon (Morgan) Tyler; Bob (Karen) Sauve, Mike Sauve and Kirsten (Chris) Bacon; Keith Ellis and Stacey (Mark) Perry.

Great-grandchildren: Rachael Griffiths; Kayla Griffiths (partner Dimitrije Glumac); Megan, Darcy and Genna Sauve; Riley Sauve and Addyson; Tyler Simms, Camryn Ellis (fiancé Logan) and Colby Ellis; Rosalie (Josh) Blair and Kevin Perry.

Great-great-granddaughter: Peyton Blair.

Also survived by her sister Mary O’Brien and eight half and step-brothers and sisters.

Predeceased by her parents Edward Crowe (Feb. 1952) and Margaret Hebert (Oct. 1993); brother Bernard Crowe (Feb. 2016) and sister Kathleen Deslauries.

Loretta was born in Timmins, Ont., came to Sarnia and worked at the Autolite where she met and married Oscar and raised three children. She worked many years at Sears, golfed with Oscar, travelled, knitted for grandchildren and was an avid Blue Jays fan.

No services as per her request. Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held.
