Obituary of Lloyd George French

FRENCH, Lloyd George – Lloyd passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, in Sarnia, Ontario, on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the age of 73.  Lloyd is survived by his life-partner, Pauline Poirier and her two sons, Michel and Daniel.  Lloyd is also survived by his sister Karen and her husband Eddy, as well as his sister Irene and her sons Darren and David, and his brother Keith.  Predeceased by parents Raymond and Ruby French, and his brothers Fred, Dave and Bob.  Born in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, Lloyd came to Sarnia after retiring from Crown Metal Packaging where he worked for many years in the shipping and receiving department.  At Lloyd’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  His ashes will be interred in the family plot at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.   He will be missed by family and friends.
