Obituary of Robert Glenn Stone

STONE, Robert Glenn – Robert started his journey to Spirit World at Bluewater Health on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Stephanie. Dear father of Justyn (Brittany), Ashley (Alphonse) and Tara. Loving papa of Jayda, Hailey, Oakley, Lucas, Migizi and Malani. Brother of Duane Stone (late Vivian) and brother-in-law Phil Apter.. Special uncle of Elizabeth, Ben, Russell, Laini, Kimberly, Angel, Tanya, Christine and Mkons. Predeceased by parents Theodore and Elizabeth Stone, brothers Gary and Gerald Stone, and his special mother-in-law Elizabeth Apter. He will be dearly missed by all his friends, family and community. Bob was always active in his life, playing all different sports growing up, to biking miles and miles around Sarnia and area up until his last year of life. He was a hard worker in every job he had, and always enjoyed laughing with co-workers, making the work lighter. He enjoyed playing pool, cribbage, cards, and spending time with his loved ones. He always enjoyed travelling on his bike and visiting friends along the way. He always prayed for the health and happiness of others, and truly taught his family what it means to love. Although his loved ones will miss him, he will now be reunited with all those he once said goodbye to earth side. Bobby’s family would like to thank Dr. Kim for his compassionate care during his illness and the Palliative Care Team. As well as Dr. Al-Zubaidi and the Health Team at Bluewater Health. Visitation at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave., Sarnia, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Community Centre on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Aamjiwnaang First Nations Cemetery.
