Irma immigrated from Casalvieri, Italy in 1954. The following year she married Giacomo at the young age of 22 and they settled in Windsor Ontario where they started their family and were blessed with three sons. They later moved to Sarnia Ontario and five more sons completed the family. Irma was completely devoted to her eight boys in every sense imaginable. There was nothing more important to her than her children's happiness. While dedicating her life to raising her boys, Irma also displayed her talent as a seamstress and incredibly found time for sewing suits and clothes for the boys, curtains for their home and even reupholstering furniture. Being a busy mother of all sons, she even found time to help with her son’s project vehicle and reupholstered the car interior. Always a devoted wife, mother, friend, confidant, and peacekeeper to anyone she knew, on the rare occasion, you may also find Irma enjoying herself at the casino. Motivated by her dedication for her family and her faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother, Irma was also part of the Catholic Women’s League for many years.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Bluewater Heath. Special thanks to Dr Stoesser, as well as to Allessandra, Mandy, Sheri and Chalice from Bayshore Home Health for all their support during the past year.
