Please accept our deepest condolences in Shirley's passing. We were great friends and neighbors of Wilf and Shirley and family .In the winters there was a great skating rink each yr and in the winter we also went up to the cottage in Southampton .Shirley had a great sense of humour and was always fun to be around .She was also a good cook but l loved her hot chocolate on those cold winter nights after skating for hrs . We will miss her but will enjoy our memories of her . God bless each and everyone of you in this time , sincerely Norma Shymko and family ❤️

Heartfelt sorrow and condolences, from my family to yours. We have shared many childhood memories on Savoy Street that I often think about. Shirley was a wonderful lady and loved to laugh, & having great patience with all those kids and their friends running in and out of the house, what a great Mom! My heart is with you Cathy, Ron, Brian, Carol and Marcie and families.

Our thoughts and special prayers are with the Charron family at this sad time. Your dear Mom is reunited with your Dad and at peace in heaven. Brenda and I have fond memories of fun times at your house on Savoy St. The friendship started with our Dads; Wilf and Brad working together at Fiberglass (or should I call it Fiber scratch). My Mom always remembered your Mom's kindness by inviting us over to dinner when the husbands were working an afternoon shift. Shirley already had a house full to feed but would invite the Horodyski family to join them. In the winter, the Charron's backyard would have a great ice rink, Brenda remembers skating and playing hockey with the kids and having a wonderful time. Keep close to your heart all the special memories of your Mom, those memories will help you at this time.
