Obituary of David James Dell
DELL, David James - died peacefully on February 20, at home, with his son and partner Janet at his side. He was 92 years old.
David and his wife Barbara emigrated to Canada from the UK in 1954 and soon after moved to Sarnia where David worked as a chemical engineer for Shell Canada until he retired. David was a long-time member of the Sarnia Yacht Club where he was a keen sailor and Sunday racer. After retiring, David was a regular volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store. During his last decade, David was very fortunate to enjoy the love and companionship of his partner, Janet Bremner.
David is survived by his children Karen and Marcus and their families, his brother Ronald and sister Hazel and families, and his partner Janet Bremner and her family. Barbara Dell died in 2009.
We are very grateful for the excellent assistance from the local health providers during David’s final days.
