Obituary of Robert Michael Sauve

SAUVE, Robert – Bob passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Sauve (Boucher)(2019) for 53 years and father of the late Kim Sauve (1983). Dear brother of Jacqueline Comeau (Armand), Aline Sauve and Colette Lajoie (Bernie). Dear brother-in-law of Bill Boucher (Doreen) and Jo-Anne Barnes (late Marvin). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alfred & Annie Sauve, brothers Charles, Marcel, Fernand, Andre, Patrick and Jean-Claude, sisters Cecile, Marie-Marthe, Jeannine and Paquerette, brother-in-law Jack Boucher. Bob was a member of Electricians Local 530.  A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 874 Philip St. E. (off Confederation) on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place. His ashes will be interred with his daughter Kim and wife Sandy at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131.
