THERIAULT, Alyre – Alyre passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Jean (Garbowsky) for 72 beautiful years. Dear father of Rodney Theriault (Judy), Joseph Theriault (Linda) and Deborah Bomben (Paul). Loving grandfather of Randa Lee (Ian), Matt, Marc, Jacob (Karen), Ryan (Jessica), Kelsey (Chris), Alyssa (Gregory) and Tyler. Great-grandfather of Reese, Liam, Gage, Avery, Sieanna, Paige, Laney, Winter and Remington. Brother of Frances Bulbulian (Maurice) and Suzanne Theriault (Leo). Predeceased by parents Ophyre and Laurette Theriault and siblings Terese Cote, Theotime Theriault, Marcel Theriault, Laurette Bourre, Osis Theriault (Fernand), and Real Theriault.

Alyre was retired from the Carpenter’s Union Local 1256 and was a long-time member of Greenwood Golf Club. He had a passion for music and could pick up any instrument and play any tune - always with a big smile on his face. He was truly a master of all trades and loved to share his hobbies with his children and grandchildren. Alyre had the kindest soul and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Visitation at McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St. Sarnia on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church following visitation at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
