Obituary of Juliette Marie Raes

RAES, Juliette Marie – Juliette passed away at Marshall Gowland Manor on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Gerardus. Dear mother of Reg (Felicity), Steve (Kathy Storey), Ronald (Deborah), Rita Macoritto (Tim) and Charles (Diane Epps) all of Sarnia. Loving Oma of Jennifer, Michael, Jay, Adam, Rebekah, Carla, David, Kathryn, Nicholas, Amaelia, Shaun and Amanda. Great-oma of 18. Sister of Etienne DeKind (late Mariette), Holland. Sister-in-law of Jopie Buysrogge, Holland. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Canada and Holland. Predeceased by parents Charles and Martha DeKind, grandson Gerard, daughters-in-law Jean and Debbie, brother Alphonse DeKind (Zus) and sister Jose Buysrogge.

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 11-12:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel at 1 p.m. Private family interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery to follow.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
