Obituary of Alan David Tyler

TYLER, Alan David – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Alan Tyler on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 66. Loving father of Lesley Tyler (David Giresi) and David Tyler (Kimberly Quinn). Dear Gpa of Shyla, Samiyah and Trey and Kayla, Erienne, Katie and Aly. Brother of Renata Ramsden (Sam) and Fred Tyler (Laurie). Predeceased by parents Fred and Mary Tyler and sister Audy Ireson (Wilf). Alan retired as a process operator from Imperial Oil in 2009. Alan lived his life to the absolute fullest. He was an avid walker and enjoyed his long walks along the waterfront and throughout the city. He enjoyed conversing with anyone he came across and wore his heart on his sleeve. He always tried to make people smile and laugh with his unique sense of humour. Alan loved, cherished and adored his grandkids. He did whatever he could to always remind them of that. He will be forever loved and missed by all who truly loved and accepted him for who he was.

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to River City Vineyard, 260 N.
