Obituary of Larry McCormick

McCORMICK, Larry George – Peacefully surrounded by his family, Larry McCormick died at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Linda McCormick for 25 years. Loving father of Elise McCormick, Dawson City, Yukon, Jill Barry, Kitchener, Karen Barry, Ipperwash Beach, and Steve Barry, Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Noah, Nicholas, Natasha, Caleb, and his “pumpkin” Zoe.  Great grandfather of Adysen and Anzel.  Dear brother of Margaret and uncle of Greg, Heather, and Will Haskett. Predeceased by his parents Hazel & George and his brother David McCormick.

Larry was a dedicated electrician who enjoyed working for Bluewater Health for many years. He lived for morning fishing trips on Lake Nipissing with brothers-in-law Doug and Mark and the boys. Linda and Larry spent many happy years vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. He thoroughly appreciated every moment shared with his loved ones.

He will be remembered as a bright and unassuming family man who cared deeply for others. It was not only his knowledge, but his way of being that enriched our lives. His neighbors knew they could count on him for a helping hand without hesitation, and his attention, resourcefulness, and skill never failed to keep those closest to him safe and warm.
