Obituary of Barbara Joan Foster

FOSTER (Dustan), Barbara Joan – Barbara peacefully passed away at Vision Nursing Home on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Patrick. Dear mother of Scott Landon, the late Tiana Landon and the late Dustan Foster (Lisa). Loving grandmother of Tiffany Burnett (Brent) and Stephen Foster. Beloved Great-grandmother of Keeghan and Farrah Lucas whom she adored with all her being. Sister of Sherrill Dustan (John Townsend). Predeceased by parents Alexander & Margery Dustan and sister Margery Walker (Ray). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Barbara lived her life in the service of her Lord our God. She taught with all of her wisdom and led by example. Barb loved without judgement and enjoyed every second she got to spend with those she loved and whom loved her. Barbara has been a beacon of light to many and she will be so very missed. A woman who never let evil steal her heart or spirit, a woman who no matter what gave it her all every day. If love could've saved her, she would have lived forever. Barb once said " I am not afraid to die, I just don't want to miss out on all of the fun!". Her family will always remember the many laughs we shared and the memories that feel like yesterday. We love you, be with God and your beautiful children who have waited a lifetime to be held by you. It's Heavens turn to love you and your spirit will make paradise so much more beautiful. Until we meet again, watch over us.

Thank you to the staff at Vision Nursing home for taking tremendous care of our Barbara, she enjoyed her life right up to her last breath. She loved you all.

Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday September 13, 2022 from 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at  11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
