Obituary of Bradley Arthur Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, Bradley Arthur – Surrounded by his loving family, Brad died peacefully at home on Friday, August 5, 2022, in his 67^th year. He is dearly loved and missed by his wife of 45 years, Beth, and by his children, Anna Lakey (Adam) of Sarnia, Joel Armstrong (Laura Rosen) of London, and his precious grandson, Hayden Lakey. Brother of Bruce Armstrong (Kris) and Brian Armstrong (Michelle) of Bloomington, Illinois.  Brother-in-law of Steven Robinson (Elspeth) of Stoney Creek, Wallace Robinson (Wilda) of Stouffville and Michele Robinson-Fisher (late Douglas Fisher) of Peterborough. Brad is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Laura Belle and Walter A. Armstrong.  

A Tool and Die Maker by trade, Brad worked as a Project Administrator for many years at Rolls Royce Civil Nuclear in Peterborough before retiring and moving with Beth to Sarnia to be close to their children. Family was Brad’s highest priority, and he was always available to help at a moment’s notice. He enjoyed contributing to his community by being a Big Brother, volunteering at Brock Mission/Cameron House in Peterborough, and singing with the Peterborough Singers. He enjoyed time spent extensively renovating and landscaping his home and woodworking.

Brad was known for his consistency, integrity, kindness, warmth, transparency, utter reliability, sense of humour, and his genuine interest in other people’s lives. He was boisterous and sang or whistled cheerfully as he worked. He will be dearly missed. 

Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME, 431 Christina St., N., Sarnia on Saturday August 27^th from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.  A memorial service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following visitation.
