Obituary of Armanda Lupi

Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday July 20^th 2022, in palliative care at Lakeridge Heath Oshawa, Ontario, Armanda (nee Cocozzoli) Lupi passed away at the age of 84. Devoted Wife of Pietro Lupi. Cherished mother to Anna (Robert Sr.), and Paul (Kim). Loving Nonna to Robert Jr. (Brie) and Anthony.  Predeceased by her Parents Domenic and Santina Cocozzoli, brothers Ernie and his wife Maria Cocozzoli, Talino and his wife Lisa Cocozzoli  and Angelo Cocozzoli. Survived by her sister-in-laws Maria Cocozzoli, Lidia Lupi and Maria Lupi, and many nieces and nephews.

Armanda was born in Brocostella Frosinone Italy and at the age of 21 married Pietro Lupi and left Italy to live in Canada.  Armanda had a big heart that was full of generosity and love. She enjoyed caring for her family and others. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking or baking something delicious. She loved spending time outside in her garden while also mentoring fellow neighbours and sharing her wisdom on how to improve their gardens. Armanda was truly a selfless woman with a great sense of humour who was always looking to help others in any way possible. This was demonstrated by her move from Sarnia to Whitby in her later years to care for and be with her family, especially her two grandsons. Her comforting meals, great advice and unconditional love will be deeply missed. We know she is now reunited with Pietro Lupi, her husband of 64 years. We love and miss you Nonna.
