Obituary of Bill Sykes

William (Bill) Roy Sykes  

Jan. 24, 1960 – May 3, 2022 

It is with profound sadness that the family of William Sykes announce his passing May 3rd, 2022, with his wife by his side, at the age of 62. 

Bill is survived by his loving wife Anne Marie (Scarpelli) of 37 years, daughter Kathryn, son Robert and grandson Conor William. Also survived by his brother Jim Cooper (Liane).  Bill was predeceased by his parents Ross (1990) and Irene (2007), and brother Bob (2017). 

Bill will be remembered by his in-laws Mario and Linda Scarpelli, sister in-law Angela, brother in-laws Robert (Rita), and Michael (Janet), many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and longtime neighbours. 

A lifetime resident of Sarnia, Bill was born Jan 24, 1960. Bill worked for Central Machine for 35 years and had a passion for motorcycles, working in his garage and spending time with his family. The family would like to thank the dedicated healthcare staff at St Joseph’s Hospice for the compassionate care given to Bill.

 Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday May 28^th from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. where a Celebration of Life will follow in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at 11:00 a.m.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 Christina St. N., Sarnia N7T 5W8.  Messages of condolence & memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
