Obituary of Nicholas Walter Harold Longley

LONGLEY, NICHOLAS -It is with great sadness and broken hearts the family of Nick Longley announce his sudden passing on Tuesday April 5, 2022, at the age of 64.  Loving father of Nick jr, (Brianne), Michael (Jessica).  Beloved brother of Bev (John), Jane (Jack).  Cherished granddad of Konner, Karter and Trooper.  Loving uncle to Emily, Brent and Dawson.  He will be so very missed by his many friends who were like family to him.  Predeceased by his wife Ann, his parents Gordon and Doreen and brother Gary.  Nick worked for many years out west in the carpenters union,  loved being on the water in his boat with family and friends, he loved music, especially live music and enjoyed going to car shows.  There were so many wonderful things about Nicky and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends will be received at a celebration of life at Stevie D’s in Point Edward on Saturday April 30th 2022 at 4:30.  .  Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations Alzheimer’s Society, 420 East Street North, Sarnia, ON N7T 6Y5.
