Obituary of Clara Maria Vennettilli

VENNETTILLI, Clara Maria (nee Petrilli) – Peacefully with her family by her side, Clara Vennettilli died at Bluewater Health on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 89.  Beloved wife of the late Michele Vennettilli (1997).  Loving mother of Anna Magliaro & her husband Rick Chatham, Elio and his wife LouAnne, Peter and his wife Sandi, Archie and his late wife Sabrina and Tina Driver & her husband Ken all of Sarnia.  Cherished Nonna of Paolo (Jen), Lisa (Jeff) and Melissa (Taylor), Amber-Lee (DJ), Ashlee (Charlie) Stephanie (Dave), Angela ( Nick), Alan (Kelli) and Cole.  Bisnonna of 20 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of late Gina D’Angela (Joe). Ameilia Liegghio (late Ulderico), Tullio Petrilli (late Antionetta).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Giovanni & Josephina Petrilli. 

Clara was a very loving and warm-hearted person.  Her family was her world, and spending time with them brought her great joy.  She always enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends.  Clara was a past member of the Catholic Woman’s League.  She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Friday, April 8^th at 10:30 a.m.  Cremation to follow with Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery at a later date.   As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 Christina St. N., Sarnia N7T 5W3 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2300 Yonge St., Suite 1200, P.O.
