Obituary of Arlene Ansell

ANSELL, Arlene – Peacefully with her family by her side, Arlene Ansell died on Thursday March 31, 2022 at the age of 91.  Beloved wife of the late Frank Ansell (1985).  Loving mother of Brad & Teri, Sarnia, Scott, Sarnia and Karen Ansell-MacKinnon & her husband Scott, London. Cherished grandmother of Nathan (Brittany) Ansell, Corunna and Jordan & AJ MacKinnon, London.  Proud great-grandmother of Natalie MacKinnon and Navy  & Banks Ansell.  Dear sister of Dr. Arthur Inch, Hamilton.  Predeceased by her parents Fred & Margaret Inch.

 

Arlene loved the theatre and enjoyed trips to the Stratford Theatre.  She enjoyed bowling and playing cards.  Arlene was a pet lover and spending time with her cats gave her great comfort.  She was an avid reader, sometimes reading a book a day.  Arlene was a kind and compassionate person and will be lovingly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. 

 

Visitation  will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St. Sarnia on Monday, April 4, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel.  At the request of the family, please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory for visitation and the service.  Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations Alzheimer’s Society of Sarnia-Lambton, 420 East St. N., Suite 8, Sarnia, ON N7T 6Y5.
