Obituary of Antonio Taraborrelli

TARABORRELLI, Antonio – Antonio passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Angela Micomonaco for 57 years. Dear father of John Taraborrelli (Carole), Sarnia and Marco Taraborrelli (Tanya), Cambridge. Loving Nonno of Samantha, Alec, Lia, Sabrina and Tomas. Brother of Gabriele Taraborrelli (Isabella), Guelph and Anna Colangelo (late Joe), Perth, Australia. Predeceased by parents Alfonso and Lucia Taraborrelli and sister Maria DiCarlo (late Leo). Antonio was born in Pollutri, Italy. He immigrated to Canada to work for CN rail in Saskatchewan. After his term was up he moved to Toronto, Guelph and then settling in Sarnia after meeting the love of his life, Angela. He was a member of the Labourers Union Local 1089 for 30 years. In his retirement he enjoyed gardening, travel, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by many relatives and friends here in Canada, Italy and Australia. Rest in God’s eternal peace.

Due to the restrictions of Covid19 a private family funeral service will be held in the chapel with entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum.
