Joan’s biggest passion was her family. Spending time with them brought much joy to her heart. Often referred to as “Lucy”, she would make everyone laugh with her jokes and crazy antics which will never be forgotten. These memories will be cherished and provide joyful tears when we remember her. Joan loved children, her grandchildren will always remember her squeezing their cheeks or doing mush mush on their cheeks. She would never come to visit empty handed, she always had a bag of goodies. For over 20 years she worked for Big V Drug store on Mitton Street. Joan was a very giving woman and volunteered at Bluewater Health for over 25 years and loved every minute of it.
The family would like to sincerely thank Village on the St Clair for the excellent, compassionate care that she received while she was there.
