To Barb, Kristin, Pat and family members: Please accept our heartfelt sympathies in your loss and sorrow. We were longtime friends of John and his late wife Kathy. We have many fond memories of times together with our ME Core group, including some which included all our children as well. Great memories to keep. We were glad to be able to virtually attend John's funeral service today, from our home in Waterloo.

We are going to miss Uncle Jas very much. So many fond memories of visiting at Easter and being greeted at the door with a blessed egg and a Wesolego Allelujah! It was a sure and happy sign of spring. Lots of fond memories too of gathering at the bush. It's comforting that you are in good company with the Nowaks and friends that went before you. Condolences to Pat, Kristin, Barb, and all of the family.

Uncle Jas was often very kind to the Henning/Nowak group, sometimes a mentor, and just a really "good" man. My condolences to all in his extended family, to our cousins Kristin and Patrick, to all his good friends, and to Barb.

My deepest sympathy to John's family and friends. I had the privilege of working with John for some years at Christie Digital in Kitchener. He was a wealth of knowledge, and more importantly an oasis of calm and common sense in the midst of our endless tech industry chaos.

Heartfelt condolences to my cousins Kristen and Patrick. Loving gratitude to Barbara for the happiness she gave to Uncle Jas. To friends and family, I'm right here with you on some level: mourning the loss of such a good person and yet celebrating the good person Uncle Jas was. R.I.P.
