My condolences to Stephanie and Trevor. I wanted to let you know what a good friend your mom was to mine. As you will remember they always lived it up and a good time together. But I will forever be grateful for the time Maryke spent with my mom at the end of her life. My mom told me that she brought laughter and comfort during visits and lifted her spirits. So I will raise a glass to Maryke and think of her and my mom laughing and sharing a glass of wine by the pool on a sunny afternoon.

I first met Maryke, years ago as a Sorority Sister and for many years, we attended a Christmas Luncheon with a group of ladies, hosted by a mutual good friend. Maryke truly was an unforgettable character and the life of the party, making an impression on everyone she met. When my Mom went to Fiddicks nursing home, Maryke was so kind to her, sharing a table everyday for their meals and making sure my Mom was doing okay. When Maryke moved to Sarnia my Mom missed her terribly as anyone who knew Maryke will also. My condolences to her Family. Sincerely, Ginny McMurray
