Condolences to Ken's family. Had the fun of working with Ken off and on over the years during outages at Bruce Power. Will miss the laughs and getting beat at euchre on breaks.

So glad to have been able to visit Ken last month. Even in his last days Ken helped to ease my pain over the loss of one of the other members of the Hagle street gang. So sorry for your loss.

As part of the Hagle Street Gang, I have too many memories to light on one, so instead I'll talk about Ken's smile. His smiles came straight from his heart, a very good heart. Kind and gentle, a gem who shone with Love for those around him. Ken was genuine and never lost the qualities we all loved him for. I'm glad he had an incredible birth and transformation day, surrounded by love, laughs and the view he enjoyed. Hugs and Love to Jan, Richard, Ted and Sandra, who lit his life up, and to the nieces and nephews he adored, and who felt the same about him. Catch you on the flip side, Ken. xoxoxo

Me and the boys always enjoyed Ken's ways. He was a free spirit and a unique individual. We all remember when at Scott's wedding, Ken raided all the tables for the free samples of Crown Royal. At the end of the night, he left with an armful of chocolate chip cookies.... when we got home he fell out of our SUV, got up smiling (and bleeding) and said "at least I didn't break the cookies!" Next morning he asked "Who did this to my face?" Scott's favourite memory... "Duck! I threw a bottle rocket in the fire!" Dean remembers saying he had never seen anyone walk across the top rail of Perch Creek bridge.... then Ken did it. Joyce remembers when we visited Ken in hospital pre-Covid and she was sitting in front of the window, sunny day. Ken looked at her and said "You look like an angel", and now he is her angel. I remember swimming at Murphy Beach with a storm abrewing, waves were high. But strangely the water is warm during storm times. Me and a few of the brothers body surfed in the crashing waves. I got tumbled and when I came up spitting water, I looked over and saw a hand come up through the waves. I grabbed the wrist and pulled, and Ken came up coughing and trying to catch his breath. Dragged him to shore and once he recovered, he went back into the waves for more. You had a lot of good times, Ken. See you on the other side! I hope Chick is pitching!
