Obituary of Hildegard Tennenbaum

TENNENBAUM, Hildegard (Linz, Austria) – Passed away peacefully at the Hospice Wellington, Guelph on July 14th 2021 at the age of  91 with her family by her side.  Beloved wife of Hans for 61 years.  Loving mother of Ursula Bowman, Yvonne Griffatong (Walter) and Erica Tennenbaum (Steven).  Cherished grandmother of Brett Bowman (Donna) and Nicole Foster (Sheldon). Proud Great grandmother of Alex, Jacob and Nicholas Bowman.

Hans and family wish you to join them in the celebration of Hilda’s life. Hilda’s priorities were her love and devotion to her family.  She was actively involved in Dunlop United Church Woman’s group and Red Cross/Meals on Wheels for over 30 years.  Giving back to the community and helping others was very much a big part of her life.  Hilda’s kindness and compassion lives in the hearts of all the people she touched.

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St., N., Sarnia on Tuesday, July 20^th from 1-2 pm.   Private family Funeral Service and interment will follow.  Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory and maximum visitors at one time and social distancing will be strictly enforced.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to Dunlop United Church, 757 Rosedale Avenue, Sarnia, N7V 1Z8, www.dunlopuc.ca or the Hospice Wellington, 795 Scottsdale Dr., Guelph, ON N1G 3R8, www.hospicewellington.org.
