Obituary of Connie Jean Hetu

HETU, Connie – Connie passed away surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Mike McGovern and the late Brian Hetu (1995). Dear mother of Sara Meunier (Clint), Cory Hetu and the late Adam Hetu (2020). Proud grandma of Natalee, Cole and Breahna, Hannah and Mason. Step-mother of Tyler McGovern (Carrie) and Kelly Willick (Brian). Sister of Brenda Russell (Darwin), John Sigafoose (Betsy), Tammy Blakkolb (Renny) and Robert Sigafoose (Jennifer). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Bert & Donna Sigafoose and brother Edgar Sigafoose (2020). Connie worked in the tax department at City Hall for 26 years retiring in 2019. Connie’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for the loving care given to her. They put a smile on her face every day. Cremation has taken place.
