Obituary of Eddo Lino Pecile
PECILE, Eddo Lino – Ed passed away at Twin Lakes Terrace on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Bianca Pecile (1999) and Laura Braun (2011). Dear father of the late Lisa Mossop (Kevin) and Daniel Pecile (Kristy). Loving grandfather of Aiden Mossop. Step-father of Christopher Braun (Holly) and Mark Braun (Amanda). Uncle of Dennis Fedoriw (Wendy) and Sylvia Fedoriw (Lean). Also surviving is grandniece Cara and several nieces and nephews in Italy. Predeceased by parents Guido & Genoveffa Pecile and sisters Elda Nobile and Maria Fedoriw (Leon). Ed was a retired welder having worked at Bayer (Polymer/Polysar). He was a member of the Dante Club, Sarnia Lakeshore Optimists Club and of the former St. Peter’s Church Choir. Being a social person, Ed enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He passed on his values such as honesty, loyalty and integrity and a little bit of dry humour to his family. His family would like to extend an overwhelming thank you to the staff of Twin Lakes Terrace who demonstrated kindness, empathy and a wonderfully caring environment during his stay there. We would also like to extend a thank you to the staffs of the Palliative Care and Telemetry Units at Bluewater Health. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, June 18 from 6-9 p.m. Visitation is by sign up invitation only. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church with interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
