Obituary of Anthony Capek

Capek, Anthony “Tony” - Passed away at Bluewater Health on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Married to his childhood sweetheart and love of his life Carol Anne (Hawkins) Capek for 57 years. Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Mary Capek. Loving father by choice of Carol (Ian) Cooper and Rhonda Hawkins.  Grandfather by choice of Matthew and Amber Bauer, Meadow Rowe and Jack Dionne. Dear brother of Mary Remes and Helen Daoust (Alabama). Tony is also survived by a sister-in-law Gloria Hawkins of Sarnia. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Aldridge Remes, Larry Daoust and Jack Hawkins.  Also survived by nieces Janey (Bill) Pettit, Karen Remes, Kathy Culverhouse and Kelly (Joel) Ebrom, and nephews David Brander of Calgary, Wayne (Lori) Brander of Cobourg, Thomas Hawkins of Sarnia, Frank Remes and the late Timothy Remes, and Donald (Jeannetta) Daoust (Alabama).  Tony will be dearly missed by his many cousins and friends. Tony loved to go under the bridge every day and enjoyed fishing and travelling. Cremation has taken place with a private family graveside burial. Keeping with Tony's wishes there will be no Celebration of Life. My heart will be with you always, until we are together again.
