Obituary of Gary James Gallant

GALLANT, Gary James – It is with saddened hearts we announce that Gary Gallant passed away on March 21, 2021 at University Hospital, London at the age of 78.  Loving father and best friend of Tina Wells & her husband Rawle Parris, Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Nathan Wells & Zion Parris.  Dear brother of Gladys Martin (Gary) Chatham and Frankie Gallant (Audrey), P.E.I.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Kathleen & J. Frank Gallant and his brothers Roger, Rickey and Deryl Gallant (Ronalda).

Gary (Kojak) worked for over 30 years in maintenance with the City of Sarnia Parks & Recreation Department.  Gary was a very compassionate and giving person, who was always the first to lend a helping hand.  He coached girls & boys baseball and hockey. Gary loved his family and was Tina’s angel always there for her and her family.  Spending time with his grandchildren brought him great joy.  He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
