Beloved wife and best friend of Stan Latawiec. Loving mother of her son Darryl Latawiec and wife Angela Tsaprailis, and her daughter Christine Latawiec. Cherished grandmother of Oaken Hachey and Jacob, Elena and Deanna Gardner and baby Sophia Latawiec. First and foremost, Linda was a mom; a mother to everyone she touched. She opened her heart and home to all who entered her life. Linda was known by family and friends for her kindness, gentle heart and generosity of spirit. She had a nurturing soul and always put the needs of others ahead of her own. Her real joy was the happiness of others, especially her family. Linda enjoyed adding the extra touches to any given moment through her thoughtfulness which made others smile. She had a way of making people feel welcomed and heard. Linda saw the goodness in everyone. In her retirement, she rekindled her love of fashion and design and became a quilter. She had a knack for putting colours and patterns together. Her quilts were a labour of love and her sewing room her happy place. She sought happiness in the simple things (morning coffees, long drives) and she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Especially the moments filled with laughter. The twinkle in her eye and her loving smile will be dearly missed.

Cremation has taken place. In honouring Linda’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131.
