Obituary of Wesley Andrew Jackson

Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Wes Jackson died on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the age of 96.  Loving husband of the late Mary (2020).  Father of Gail (Bill) Collins and step-father of Mary Jane (Neil), Susan (Harold), Cindy (Blair).  Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by his parents Irene & Frank Jackson and his sons Glen, Larry and Gary Jackson.

Wes was in the Navy in World War II.  He enjoyed playing and coaching sports.  In his younger years he loved woodworking.  Special thank you to the Palliative Care nurses at Bluewater Health and the staff at Fairwinds for the kindness they showed Wes. 

Cremation has taken place.Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a family celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (519-344-3131).   As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to a charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
