I will never forget the “Governor”. That was the nickname my dad used to call your dad. Whenever your dad was at our house he always had a joke or a funny story to share. And his delivery was usually the funniest part of the story. Your mom and dad were special friends to my parents and they enjoyed each other’s company for a lifetime. I know they each had a long life. But, no matter how long of a life they had, it still hurts beyond description when they pass. Try to take some comfort in knowing they didn’t have to be apart for long before they were able to reconnect in eternity. Follow their lead. They were awesome parents and awesome people.
Your neighbour from South Windsor. Don Janisse

Hello there to Nancy, Susan and Carol. This is Lois Stanwick. I think of you so very often Nancy. I often thought of your parents as well. Moe LeBlanc recently came into the Red Lobster (where I still work, almost 30 happy years later) and told me about your mom and then on Saturday, I just read that your dad has also passed away. How difficult this season in your lives must be. I would love to catch up with you. Please email me or call if you would like to chat, I still have your beautiful graduation picture with a long long letter to me on it. May God bless you ladies and your families as you navigate through these waters. (Especially during covid!!!) Lois (lois1@cogeco.ca or 519-903-1641)

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked at Ontario Blue Cross which shared a public service counter with the OHIP staff. Bill was always pleasant and so funny. I recall laughing most days at something silly that he said. Later in life my parents became great friends of his brother, Terry and I would hear a bit about Bill from time to time. A great guy who will surely be missed. Barb (Laporte) Kennedy.
